![]() The NRA’s Heritage Society is a donor recognition society that distinguishes those men and women who strongly believe in the mission of the NRA and generously assist in ensuring its future. Membership is awarded to all individuals who have included the NRA, NRA-ILA, NRA–Special Contribution Fund (Whittington Center), or any of NRA’s tax-exempt affiliates in their will, trust, or other estate plan. Heritage Society Members and Ambassador Members are recognized on the “Defenders of Freedom” wall in the atrium of the NRA Headquarters. Members are also listed in NRA publications and are invited to attend special regional and national events. Heritage Society Members and Ambassador Members receive a distinctive thank you gift in recognition of their planned gift commitment. The Heritage Society is proud to recognize Ambassador Members of the Heritage Society. Ambassador Members are those Heritage Society Members who have elected to strengthen their commitment to the National Rifle Association through providing documentation of their planned gift. Charter Ambassador Membership will be extended to those Heritage Society Members who help the NRA plan for the future by providing documentation of their planned gift.
